IFM’s global team of infrastructure professionals is deeply experienced in private sector investment in infrastructure. Team members bring experience as senior industry managers, finance professionals and policy makers. They have investment, operational, financial, regulatory and portfolio management expertise – with a track record of managing assets through business cycles, management transitions and regulatory reviews. They are supported by in-house legal and tax experts. The team is culturally diverse and speaks over sixteen languages, illustrating the significant internal diversity needed to manage a global investment program.

Christian Seymour

Head of Infrastructure – Europe
Joined IFM in March 2004

Responsible for the business expansion in Europe and oversight of IFM’s existing European asset portfolio, Christian has been with IFM for over seven years and for the past four years has been based in London. He represents IFM on the boards of Anglian Water and Arqiva Limited. Christian has a background in the acquisition, marketing, project development and operations management of energy and related infrastructure developments. Spanning a period of 20 years, he has worked for companies such as Duke Energy, Santos, BHP Billiton, Bechtel and Woodside on medium to large-scale projects, successfully leading multi-disciplinary project teams.

Manoj Mehta

Executive Director

Manoj is responsible for evaluating, implementing and managing European investments. He represents IFM on the board Wales & West Utilities and is the alternate director on Anglian Water. Prior to joining IFM, Manoj held the position of Principal, Corporate Finance with Transport for London, and was responsible for leading the financial and commercial structuring of major transport projects, including the Thames Gateway Bridge and the East London Line Extension. Previously, Manoj was a Vice President in the Infrastructure Advisory Group at Citigroup and advised on large infrastructure transactions including the restructuring and sale of Railtrack, advising industrial sponsors on the structuring and financing of large PPP projects and power plants. Prior to joining Citigroup, Manoj spent three years with the Boston Consulting Group in Paris, where he was involved in various strategy consulting assignments within the Telecoms, Pharmaceuticals, Finance, Consumer Products and Power industries.

Frederic Michel-Verdier

Frederic’s responsibilities include relationship development, evaluation, implementation and management of infrastructure investments for IFM. Prior to joining IFM, Frederic worked as a Director of Corporate Finance at ING Barings in London for seven years, SG Investment Banking for four years, and Ernst and Young for three years. Since joining IFM, Frederic has been involved in the acquisition from Vattenfall of 50Hertz, and led the investment in Dalkia Polska. Frederic represents IFM as a director on the boards of 5Hertz Transmission and Dalkia Polska and as an alternative director on the board of Wales & West Utilities.

Werner Kerschl

Investment Director
Joined IFM in February 2006

Werner is responsible for the origination and execution of infrastructure transactions as well as asset management and has been providing the infrastructure team with analytical, financial modelling and research support. He represents IFM on the Supervisory Board of Eurogrid International (50Hertz Transmission). Werner has led financial and commercial transaction work streams, including transactions of regulated utilities and PPPs. He worked on the successful acquisitions of Anglian Water Group (UK), Duquesne Light Holdings (USA), the Defence Headquarters PPP (Australia) and more recently 50Hertz Transmission (Germany). Werner worked previously for PricewaterhouseCoopers (Melbourne) in the Valuations team, and before that at KPMG Financial Advisory Services in Vienna, Austria.

Jayco Wamsteker

Jayco is responsible for evaluating, implementing and managing European investments. He has 20 years experience in the infrastructure sector, covering energy & utilities, transport, telecoms, and natural resource projects. Prior to joining IFM, Jayco worked as a financial adviser (UBS Warburg, PwC), project lender (Natixis) and developer (PowerGen, Enron, John Laing). He started his career in 1990 with MeesPierson in Amsterdam. Jayco represents IFM as a director on the boards of 5Hertz Transmission and Dalkia Polska.

Deepu Chintamaneni

Deepu is responsible for evaluating and executing infrastructure transactions and assisting with the ongoing asset management of IFM’s existing European investments. Prior to joining IFM, Deepu worked at Citigroup for a number of years financing infrastructure and energy projects in the United States, Central America and the Caribbean across various sectors, including ports, airports, telecommunications and utilities. Deepu started her career with Citigroup as a member of their two-year analyst program, working in the San Francisco office of their Public Finance division. Deepu holds a Master of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Bombay.

Olivier Sueur

Olivier is responsible for research and preparation of investment strategies, and also assists in the execution of transactions. Prior to joining IFM, Olivier was an Associate Analyst with Moody’s Investors Services. In this role Olivier was responsible for undertaking research in rating oil & gas companies, and electric utilities in UK, Central and Eastern Europe, preparation and review of financial models, compilation and maintenance of peer comparisons and industry statistics.

Business development and client relationship team

IFM’s institutional Business Development team brings deep investment knowledge derived from specialisations in infrastructure, funds management, investment consulting, private equity and private banking.

Annabel Wiscarson

Executive Director – Business Development (Europe)
Joined IFM in January 2011

Annabel joined IFM to manage the firm’s business development, fundraising and client relationship efforts in Europe. Prior to joining IFM, Annabel held the position of Senior Vice President with Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets where she was responsible for fundraising in Scandinavia across multiple asset classes including infrastructure, private equity, agriculture, emerging markets and other alternative funds. Annabel spent nine years with Macquarie in the Funds Management, Corporate Finance and Equities Research teams in London, New York, Sydney and Auckland. Annabel is currently a Governor & Member of the Finance Committee for Queen Anne's School in the UK and is a Trustee of their charitable trust.

Anna Demarmels

Vice President – Business Development (Europe)
Joined IFM in November 2012

Anna is responsible for managing the fundraising of IFM investment products in Europe through establishing and further developing investor relationships with a primary focus on investors in Germany, Switzerland and the Nordics. Prior to joining IFM, Anna was responsible for relationship management most recently at Sarasin & Partners in London where she spent the last three years managing investor relationships and investment consultants in the UK, the Nordics and the Netherlands. Prior to that, Anna spent three years at RBS Asset Management and three years at Alliance Bernstein, responsible for client relationships in Northern Europe with traditional and alternative asset classes.

Jojo Granoff

Director – Investor Relations (US and Europe)
Joined IFM in March 2010

Jojo is responsible for client services and investor relations for IFM in the US and UK. Jojo joined IFM from Lehman Brothers, where she was Head of Investor Relations for Lehman’s Private Equity business. Jojo has also held positions in the Capital Markets group at Trust Company of the West.
