IFM Private Equity Funds

IFM manages five closed-end private equity funds designed for Australian institutional investors seeking an investment in the private equity sector.

The funds employ a defined investment period and a disciplined investment program diversified by stage, sector geography and vintage year. The funds also have the flexibility to participate in secondaries and the Australian funds can undertake private equity co-investments.

Australian private equity funds

The Australian private equity funds invest primarily in unlisted Australian and New Zealand companies.

    Launched in August 1995, aggregate commitments of A$103 million.
  • IFM Australian Private Equity Fund II
    Launched in July 1999, aggregate commitments of A$334 million.
  • IFM Australian Private Equity Fund III
    Launched in January 2004, aggregate commitments of A$425 million.
  • IFM Australian Private Equity Fund IV
    Launched in February 2007, aggregate commitments of A$665 million.

International private equity Funds

IFM's international private equity funds commit to investment vehicles and private equity funds in the US, Europe, the UK and Asia.

  • IFM International Private Equity Fund I
    Launched in August 2000, aggregate commitments of US$568 million.
  • IFM International Private Equity Fund II
    Launched in March 2005, aggregate commitments of US$517 million.
  • IFM International Private Equity Fund III
    Launched in October 2007, aggregate commitments of US$545 million.

Mandate funds, co-investments and direct investments
